Omega Orienteering invites you to the 3 days of Belgium between August 21 and 23 2026.

We offer challenging races on very nice maps (Weyervlakte and Gruitroderbos). Both maps where used in JWOC 1997 and Weyervlakte was used in JEC 2014. Both maps will be renewed this summer!

Register now for the 3 days or for 1 or more days.

Or take up the challenge and opt for our Ultimate Orienteering: orienteering on Oro-hydro maps. An exceptional experience!

Ultimate Orienteering

We provide 2 courses for the true orienteering enthusiasts (oro-hydro) on these beautiful maps with small relief.
The ultimate orienteering experience!

What’s “oro-hydro“?
Only brown (oro) and blue (hydro) features will be printed on the orienteering map.

Classes

On normal IOF maps, for Men and Women:

  • -10, -10B (accompanied), -12, -14, -16, -18, -20, 21, 21E (Elite), 35, 40, 45, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90

  • Prizes for the 3 best participants per class

  • Preregistration till August 8 2026, registration on site is NOT possible

  • Preregistration possible for all days or for each day separately

  • Categories can be combined in case of insufficient participants

  • Free starting time for M/W-10 and M/W -10B. Accompanist of W/M-10B will run their own race first.

Ultimate (Oro-Hydro):

  • Long (7,5-7 km) , Short (4 km)

  • Prizes for the 3 best participants per class

  • Preregistration till August 8 2026, registration on site is NOT possible

  • Preregistration possible for all days or for each day separately

For less experienced runners or participants who do not wish to participate in their own age category

  • Black Long/ Black Short/Red Middle/Blue/Green

Black Long (LD) 6,5/6 km make the best possible use of the terrain's characteristics to offer a challenging competition
Black Short (SD) 3/3 km
Red Middle(MM) 4,5/4 km route selection possible along line objects and a clear point of attack
Blue (SE) 3/3 km route selection via line objects and posts visible from line objects
Green (SX) 3/3 km route selection via paths and posts at intersections of line objects and visible from an eye level of 1 m

  • Enrollments must be done In O’Punch for IOF and Ultimate courses and also for LD/SD/MM/SE/SX courses

  • All payments should be done in Euro. Exchange fees should be payed by the participant.

  • Date of payment is decisive for the corresponding period.

  • Annulation, with refund of the registration fee (except from bank charges) is possible until Augusth 8th.

  • For the renting of the SI card, a deposit of either 50€ or a valid passport or driving license will be asked on place.

Accomodation

A lot of campsites, hotels, bed-breakfasts and vacation homes are available in the larger region.

Due to Pukkelpop, a famous festival with more than 65.000 visitors, taking place in Kiewit-Hasselt during the same weekend, it can be difficult and more expensive to find accomodation to stay overnight. Don't wait too long, to make a reservation for your place to stay.

Campers, caravansand tents can stay for free at the competition parking lot in Oudsbergen (Zavelstraat) from Friday, August 21, after 11 a.m., until Sunday, August 23, at 4 p.m.
Important: No additional services are offered (electricity / water / showers / etc.). However there are toilets on the nearby CC.

  • Pre-registrations are closed, we expect more than 750 participants. Registration on site only possible for LD/SD/MM/SE/SX.

  • Course 6 splitted in 6A (M60 - W40) and 6B (W50 - W45 - W-16) (due to a lot of runners in this course)

  • W50 moved from course 7 to 6B (due to a lot of runners in course 7)

  • M75 moved from course 8 to 9 (due to a lot of runners in course 8)

  • overnight accomodation can be more difficult to find due to Pukkelpop, a big music festival taking place in the same weekend.

  • Campers, tents and caravans are welcome on our parking lot in Oudsbergen (without any services like water, showers or electricity!)

November 15 2025; 10:30:

  • Enrollments are open on O-Punch for all participants.
